Adapted from Jean Hartley's autobiography 'Philip Larkin, the Marvell Press and Me' by David Pattison 'Wrong Beginnings' follows Jean's often turbulent journey from a book loving 15 year old school leaver to becoming a successful artist and writer via a failed marriage to the volatile George Hartley and a 30 year friendship to Philip Larkin.
